Button Dyeing

This month we're trying something a little different. Did you know you could dye buttons? We'll be doing exactly that on Thursday, March 10 at 6pm.

Why would you want to dye buttons? Well, if you're trying to match a particular fabric and can't find the button you need, then this can be the answer to your problem! Or, if you're using buttons for, say, a future craft night, you can get exactly the colors you want by mixing dyes.

We'll have a selection of buttons or you can bring any of your own to try. Not every button will take dye and not all buttons dye the same. Plastic buttons work best. So come try out a new skill. Please sign up to let us know if you plan to attend.
